Period of harvest: Hand harvest between the second part of September and the first part of October. Before the harbest, Stefano Mantellini, the owner of the company, almost every day, tastes the grapes from different lines of the vineyard, following mainly the sensory analysis of the skins, the pits and the pulp.

Vinfication: Each grape’s variety is harvested at different times and the wines produced are kept in separate vats. After the delastages, the international varieties are aged one year in french new oak barriques and the rest in stainless steel vats. Once the refinement of the blend is completed, the wine will finally needs at least 3 months of aging in bottle.

Alcohol: 13/14%

Tasting notes: Complex choice of the grape variety; scrupulous care of the vines and perfect combination between the grapes, bring to a wine of great structure and character, nice drinkability, roundness and persistency; ISEI represents the contemporary expression of the Vald’Arno territory.

Of intense ruby red color with violet nuances, a fine bouquet of red fruits, vanilla and spices, it is of ample and clean flavor with elegant tanninic, fruity and spicy taste.
