Period of harvest: Hand harvest between September and October.
Vinfication: During the harvest the grapes are carefully selected. After destemming, follows a vinification with fermentation in stainless steel vats
at controlled temperature. The fermentation lasts in between eighteen to
thirty days depending on the clone and grape quality of the vintage. Along
the fermentation it is necessary to do two pumpovers a day and delestages every 3-4 days. Refining lasts 18 months in stainless steel vats.

Tasting notes: It is a typical fresh Chianti wine of intense ruby red color with brillant violet reflexes. Scent of red berries (cranberries, cherries,
raspberries) and underlined by light spices notes. On the palate it is fresh and savory with taste of cherry and blackberry and a light taste of black pepper. It is a wine with fine balanced tannins, round and mouthful, with a nice freshness and lengthened sensation.
